This unit has been a long time favorite due to sturdy construction and ease of use. This traditional pump driven espresso machine makes perfect espresso, cappuccino and lattes every time. The electric pump system and unique pressurized portafilter enable the user to make a perfect cup of espresso without being an expert barista. The Via Venezia features an exclusive pannarello milk-frothing wand to make lots of tasty frothed milk for lattes and cappuccinos. It also features a heated cup-stacking surface, which preheats the cups to make the perfect cup of espresso.

| Customer Reviews: Made 2 wonderful cappuccinos..then as-if it needed laxatives September 1, 2010 Thach Nguyen (San Jose, CA USA) Did I get you attention? Well, the title says it all. I followed instructions carefully and made two perfect cappuccinos on the first Saturday of the week we got the machine. Half hour later wanted more and the machine just buzzed. Tried the steam and the wand took a short whiz then stopped. It tried hard. Thinking that we overworked the machine with the 2 cups and made it work more within half hour, we stopped. Sunday, tried again and the same problems. Back to Bloomie's it went. Luckily they took it in spite of Saeco's instruction not to return to store.
Starbucks machine August 4, 2010 Needs Caffeine (Los Angeles) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Saeco manufactured this model for Starbucks for several years (or a close variation -- I think the Starbucks version may have had the temperature control adjusted to brew their custom blend at an optimal temperature). In any case, it's a basic, good machine from Saeco, with one odd customization of the frothing wand being on the left side rather than the right. It also rotates on a ball joint, which is convenient.
Good espresso June 22, 2010 Turner 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
