Its hard for me to imagine a better froth maker. It makes it as good or superior (mostly superior) to any I've paid for.
In response to comments stating a separation of milk from froth I use whole milk, its creamier with very deep micro foam. I only make it for myself so I use just enough milk to almost cover the little spinner. After its done I swirl the cup for 10 seconds or so and pour it onto a large double shot's worth of espresso with Torani chocolate syrup. It's smooth and rich all the way as it flows in and I have the very best cappuccino possible, topped with cinnamon of course.
It's totally user-friendly and I will never again yearn for the expert.

I bought this, waited serveral weeks for it, spent a lot of money comparatively and it does not work. Not happy Jan.

I bought this only to make cappuccino. Even if you buy them at McDonald's, the cost adds up. I had bought an inexpensive cappuccino maker at a local retailer, and it makes great coffee, but the frothing mechanism doesn't work. Before returning it, I decided to do some research of the customer reviews of cappuccino makers on Amazon. It looked to me like a good cappuccino maker would be very expensive, so I decided to keep the coffee machine and buy a frother to go with it.
I like this frother because:
- it makes great froth
- it's easy to clean (in the sink only!)
- it's the right size for me, doesn't take up too much space on the countertop
- it's visually appealing
Some reviews I had read about this frother stated the froth would go over the top. I do not find this to be true. You do have to follow the instructions and not fill it too full.
Another reviewer asked if there should be milk left at the bottom of the frother. I believe there should when making cappuccino.
I have also added froth to chai tea, and that was great, too.
I have not used the cold frothing option.

I have a stove top espresso maker and I wanted to be able to have good coffee shop style drinks at home. This is an amazing little machine. It's quiet, takes around one minute to froth and steam the milk and it's non-stick inside so it rinses clean in just a few seconds. It's exactly what I wanted and it is per-fect!

I have had the older model for about 2 years and just love it! Easily makes the frothy milk for cappuccino-style coffees. Purchased this one as a gift for my sister after she commented so often on the one I own.
