Yes I agree with the reviewers who like this Machine(Capresso 303)..I collect Coffee Makers..I live in Victoria, Australia, saw the unit on AMAZON and had to have one..Its 110volt Unit, Australia is 240Volts, so I use a step down transformer, I was very pleased withe results..Its worth every penny I payed for it..Wonderful Espresso, and enough steam to froth 4oz. of Lt.Milk to perfection..My Machine carries the DURA Label.? Capresso 303.01 4-Cup Espresso and Cappuccino Machine July 16, 2010 devlprindle I was gifted with the Capresso 303.01 4-Cup Espresso and Cappuccino Machine and had great expectations. It does everything it is supposed to do. Good machine! Alas, I guess I am not much of a coffee connoisseur because I wanted to make 10 cups at a time and not 2 cups, so I sent it back.
espresso maching July 5, 2010 anne from st louis (st louis mo) I read the reviews and, after purchasing this and using it for about a month, I can agree with what they said about having to get used to using it, practicing, etc. It is easy to clean, works pretty well but there is a definite learning curve involved as far as the foaming/steaming process goes and the ratio of espresso to milk. I do find that it does not heat the milk enough, so I start with nuking it a few seconds in the microwave to take off the chill and then finish the steaming/foaming with the machine. Overall, I like having it as my husband is hooked on lattes and it's nice to have this in the house and not have to always go out for one. One note: you will also need to purchase a burr coffee grinder (according to the instructions these work best) - I bought a Cuisinart model for about $49 - (did not spring for the $99 deluxe model) and it works fine.I would buy this again.

My Starbucks Barista espresso machine finally broke after 10 years of heavy use. I purchased the Capresso machine after reading the postive reviews. The machine was finicky and took a while to get used to, but after a day or two I was able to make a nice latte so I was happy. The crema on the espresso wasn't as nice as what I used to get from the Starbucks machine, but for 1/2 the price it was OK. But then in week 4 or so, the lever that you move to go from frothing to espresso stopped moving. I tried everything: restarting the machine, unplugging, emptying and refilling the water, etc. but nothing worked. Sadly I've had to return the machine and am on the search for a new one.
It was great for the first couple of weeks June 4, 2010 Jelly Belly (NY, USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really liked this machine in the beginning. It made excellent cappuccino and I thought it was really worth the money. Then after couple of weeks, the steamer stopped working. It still made expresso but no steam. So I had to heat the milk separately in the microwave. (pain). No froth. I received a replacement, but the 2nd machine also had the same problem. The steamer did not work after the 2nd use. I've read other reviews on this item before purchasing and several of them stated that I need to study the manual and really follow directions to a science. I did that! So, perhaps it is true that you get what you paid for and this machine was cheap and for a good reason. Now I will be researching more expensive machines.
