Product works well, though the description makes it seem more functional and easy to use then then reality. The two switches, one for number of cups and the other for courseness (fineness), really only change the length of time the grinder runs with you finger on the button. You also have to keep you finder on the button for the cycle to be timed. However, the discount offered at the time of purchase made this buy acceptable. Nice features are the ability to remover the grinding chamber to dump your product and the ability to take the chamber apart for cleaning.

I own this grinder (Mr. Coffee IDS76) for over 1 year and have been using it every day. We have owned many kinds of coffee grinders and mills in the past two decades, even including a hand-cranked unit. After balancing quality of coffee ground and maintenance requirement, we have come back to the grinder side over the coffee mills. This coffee grinder is a good balance, easy to operate, take the guessing out of the grinding, spinning side scraping mechanism to loosen all the coffee ground, washable cup, good-looking design, and durable. Compared to all other units I have owned, this one provides the best value. If you are like me who like to have a freshly ground cup of coffee without much fuss, this grinder is a very good option.

This is very nice. The grind timer feature works (I wasn't sure it would). Self cleaning feature isn't as good as I expected. The bowl and lid remove easily and is handy for transferring coffee. Good price too!

The shape was similar to my old Mr. Coffee burr grinder, so at first disappointed it was a blade unit. However, this is well designed and thought out. You have to hold down the top until the timer stops the grinding. Good uniform grind. The bowl unit and top remove for cleaning under water, hooray, no more oily stinky coffee grinder. Note the align marks on the side to easily replace bowl and top. AT first I just spun it around to get it in place, but looking at the color notches makes it easy. Like it.

THE CORD ON THIS BABY IS MINUSCULE! I HAVE TO PLUG IT INTO AN EXTENSION CORD JUST TO GET IT PLUGGED IN WITHOUT HAVING TO HOLD IT TO THE WALL! IT IS VERY INCONVENIENT. THE GRINDER ITSELF WORKS FINE OTHERWISE BUT IT IS POORLY DESIGNED THAT CORD SHOULD BE LONGER.
I HATE HAVING AN EXTENSION CORD ON MY COUNTER! MY GOD I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT MR. COFFEE WOULD HAVE MORE SENSE. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED.
