Very Happy July 24, 2010 C. Hill (New Mexico) We've been using this machine twice a day for about 4 months now. No complaints. Nice crema, good froth. Easy to use on automatic and easy to adjust settings to your liking. I feel sorry for those who got a lemon. Ours has worked well since we took it out of the box. Very good machine for the price.
no water here either! July 13, 2010 S. Buffone (Norwalk, CT) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this espresso unit before reading reviews. Started it up per manual and had the same problem many others report; no water pumping through the machine. No trouble shooting in the manual and no help from Cuisinart customer service. Returning it tomorrow.
Great May 26, 2010 M. Bailey (Fort Lewis, WA) We were worried to prchase an expresso machine that was not Italian but this has been a great produt. The crema (top of the coffee) is great and it taste great, it takes just a few minutes to warm up and its very quiet. We have always been with Gaggia but the last one we have had was not of the normal Gaggia quality and the coffee did not taste good. We do use good italian brand expresso coffee.
It was a great value for the money.
Did not work out of the box May 26, 2010 Marge Rudisill (Johns Island, SC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had read the reviews and was hoping that the good would out weigh the bad on this machine, but ,unfortunately, we received a lemon. It looks like what was wrong with our machine was a common complaint-after unpacking, setting up the machine and watching the dvd on how to operate it, we readied ourselves to have our first cup. We tried to purge the machine-nothing. We tried to get hot water out of the wand-nothing. It was almost like a vacuum block-the machine simply would not uptake any water. Dissapointed-we packed it up and sent it back. The seller was prompt in replying and sending us a UPS label for the return. We wound up buying a DeLonghi Esclusivo and are happy to report great crema and yummy cappucinos.
AMAZING!!! May 21, 2010 J. williams (FL, USA) I had a Krups for four years before buying this machine and I am sooooo glad I did.
The crema is perfect every time, the froth is amazing even on my rice milk, I highly recommend this espresso maker.
